As well as raising money for our animals here, we also try to raise awareness and funds for other animal charities around the world such as The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, who run an elephant orphanage in Nairobi.

Porfell owners John and Joy Palmer were delighted that their display in the Maasai huts, (African Adventure), showcasing the work of the trust and requesting donations helped to raise £500.

The money was presented to Dame Daphney Sheldrick in December and will go directly to helping young elephants rehabilitate back in to the wild
